Yuanman - 天津市

Upon arriving, we were delighted to easily locate the restaurant, which can be challenging in China. Despite not being open yet, they graciously allowed us to sit and enjoy tea until opening time. The food was excellent, with a menu featuring photos and English descriptions. The variety of Mock Meat dishes was impressive. The sweet and sour "pork," served cold, was particularly delicious. The service was friendly and accommodating, and with the assistance of translator apps, we were able to communicate effectively. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Tianjin!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant that offers a wide selection of dishes. The menu includes a variety of mock meat and fish options, as well as plenty of vegetable, soup, and noodle choices. Some dishes had unique names, such as the 'bacteria' dish that was actually delicious deep-fried mushrooms in a spicy batter. Despite the language barrier with the staff, who only spoke Chinese, they were still very accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great dining experience.

That was a great restaurant with a huge menu. There were a lot of meat and fish dishes, but also loads of veg, soups and noodles. Some of the dishes were named strangely (the 'bacteria' actually delicious mushrooms fried deep in a spicy dough) but all we tried was excellent. The menu is in Chinese and English, and although the staff did not speak English, they were very helpful and I highly recommend this place.

When we arrived, we were so happy to have found it as easy as often here in China is not so easy. they have not opened for another hour, but offered to sit and have tee until the time to open. eating was fantastic, the menu has photos and English descriptions. there were many mock meat choices. the sweet and acidic “pork”, served cold, was amazing. the service was friendly and understanding and with the help of translator apps we could communicate very well.
