The roast... read more I stopped by on my way back from a trip to Ikaho. This restaurant was recommended by a friend. I had Margherita pizza, calzone, and roast beef salad. The roast beef salad was delicious. The pizza had more volume than I had expected, and since we were all light eaters, we ended up leaving some. When I asked to take it home, they kindly wrapped it for me. I heard that the pumpkin tart was delicious, but I was too full to try it, which was a shame. The coffee we had after the meal was reportedly delicious (I had tea). The cups were all different and made of pottery, which was lovely. The interior of the restaurant, with a wood stove and a gallery-like atmosphere with pottery, was quiet with jazz music playing softly, and the sound was great! I will definitely come back next time to try the desserts.

The landmark is the reservoir on the opposite side of the road. Inside, there are table seats and counter seats where you can enjoy the view outside. The recommended seats are at the counter, with a panoramic view of Mt. Akagi, making it feel open and spacious. The menu mainly consists of salads, pizzas, and desserts. The highly recommended dish is the roast beef salad (1,000 yen). The roast beef is tender and juicy, with no greasiness. Unlike typical dry roast beef, this one is full of flavor when you chew it. Its compatibility with the dressing is also excellent. There are various types of pizzas available, but the best is Margherita. The crust is thin yet chewy, and the tomato sauce has a low acidity which suits many tastes. The cheese is rich in flavor and delicious. The coffee is also refreshing and easy to drink - perhaps because of the good quality water? It can get moderately crowded even on weekdays, so it is recommended to visit when you have some extra time.
