The reputation... read more Living in Tono, when I asked my acquaintances for recommendations for restaurants and izakaya in the area, many people told me about this place. The reputation was spot on - the seafood dishes are delicious. The owner, or should I say the proprietress, noticed that our order seemed like too much food for us to finish and checked in with us before making the final dish. It was a relief because we were already full. The assorted sashimi we ordered first was so good that we got carried away and ordered too much. We left with a promise to come back and even decided to keep a bottle there for next time.

It's... read more I visited this restaurant in 2009 and was impressed by the delicious fish. I tried to revisit in March 2017, but it was fully booked and I couldn't get in. It's a shame that it's a place that's hard to visit. However, I'm happy to see that the restaurant seems to be thriving. Keep up the good work!
