I came all the way to Oita, so I had to try the fried chicken! It had a good portion size and was delicious. The parking lot is small, so be careful if you are driving.

I tried Nagatsu Karaage for the first time. It was juicy and very delicious. It was a bit disappointing that we could only do takeout due to the impact of the coronavirus.

When heading to Oita Airport by car and craving some fried chicken, I made a sudden visit to "Nakatsu Karaage Ichiban-dori Hidate store"! There were only about 2 parking spots available and the restaurant felt cramped. With only about 5 seats inside, I wondered if it was only for takeout since there were no other customers. However, dining in was allowed, so I was relieved. I promptly ordered the Negitare seseri-don. It was my first time trying fried seseri in a bowl, and freshly fried, it was indeed crispy and delicious. I couldn't resist and ended up ordering some takeout for my family as well. They also enjoyed the savory Nakatsu fried chicken and were pleased with it.
