I have been coming to this restaurant for years. I first discovered it over 20 years ago when I was looking for a ramen shop that was open late at night. The "mizore ramen" with grated daikon has been popular since then, but my favorite is the "iwanori ramen" which is also popular! Mizore ramen tends to get cold quickly, so I prefer the iwanori ramen. I stormed into Lunch Peak. Ate a large portion of miso char siu and salted gyoza. It's a dish that I never get tired of even after years of visiting. I slurped the noodles while breaking up the honey-pickled plum, mixed the grated radish with the soup, and enjoyed the texture of the radish leaves and the faint yuzu scent spreading in my mouth as I slurped the noodles in a loop. Occasionally biting into the char siu to feel the umami and then enjoying the loop of umami again. The portions are large, so it's best to attack with a normal serving unless you're a big eater. The salted gyoza is eaten by squeezing kabosu and dipping it in salt. This is also a superb dish where the umami spreads and the texture of the ingredients is enjoyable. It was delicious today too! The service was quick, and I was able to enjoy a stress-free time.
I visited this restaurant for the first time since it was renovated. Even though I arrived at 10:30, there were already quite a few customers inside... As expected, this place is really popular. I wanted to try the amazing Mizore Ramen and Iwanori Ramen that I had before, so I ordered the Mizore Iwanori Ramen. The subtle yuzu and crunchy chopped takana (spicy mustard greens) that were added were very good. The flavor was just right, with the crushed umeboshi adding a nice touch. It was delicious. Since it was the middle of Golden Week holiday, it was very busy and there was already a line forming by 10:50. Thank you for the great meal.

Among the many menu options, there are variations of the iwanori ramen, but my go-to is the "negi nori chashu men". It is delicious and addictive. The taste is reminiscent of La-sho. The restaurant was renovated a few years ago and now looks quite beautiful. There is a branch in Tsukuba as well, but I feel that the main branch consistently offers better tasting food.
