The interior was designed with a school theme, featuring a timetable, blackboard, and bookshelves. There are 6 seats with a view of Lake Kasumigaura and 8 slightly larger tables for 4 people each, creating a relaxed atmosphere overall. When I visited, aside from one couple on a date, all the customers were women. There were many dishes and desserts made with local ingredients from the Lake Kasumigaura region, and I tried the Shirauo donburi (raw icefish) which was sparkling and delicious with the warm rice and cold icefish offering a unique texture. The rice was also very good, as was the ginger. Perhaps because it was lunchtime, there was also a drink bar included. The restaurant has a spacious parking lot, a souvenir shop on the first floor, and the opportunity for a short walk outside, making it a great stopover point.

I visited this restaurant on the day before the Kasumigaura Marathon, and I was disappointed that the kitchen on the second floor was closed due to preparations... read more I visited this restaurant on the day before the Kasumigaura Marathon, and I was disappointed that the kitchen on the second floor was closed due to preparations for the marathon booth (it would have been nice if they had at least opened it a couple of times). I bought a hamburger and choux cream (which was a bit expensive at 410 yen, but with minimal additives) at the MarShe on the first floor and ate them inside the restaurant. It was nice to be able to eat while overlooking Lake Kasumigaura. I think they are particular about their ingredients.

The price was on the higher side, but the kids' plate had good value and tasty flavors.
