The interior, renovated from an old folk house, has a calm atmosphere with soothing music playing. The staff are kind and the service is pleasant. I had the zenzai affogato with shiratama and tofu ice cream with a coffee set. The tofu ice cream is refreshing and has a subtle sweetness. I also purchased some delicious looking baked goods displayed in the showcase. The staff recommended their new creation, the "Yame tea sandwich," which was a luxurious treat with a rich and balanced bitterness from the Yame tea chocolate. The cafe is known for using natural, organic, locally sourced vegetables, rice, and ingredients, making it not only good for the body but also for the soul. There is a Buddhist altar room called "Koryu'in" at the back, and I was kindly shown around before leaving.
