In a thatched-roof traditional house, we enjoyed kuzukiri and kuzumochi while gazing at the Uda River from the veranda. The kuzukiri had rare sweet and rich wasanbon syrup, while the kuzumochi's skin was chewy and the red bean paste inside was light. It felt like returning to a countryside grandparent's house and felt warm and cozy.

The old man there, who apparently used to ride a motorcycle, is very friendly and talkative if you arrive on a motorcycle.
