Was カズン at すぎのや a mag?
I tried the recommended black chiku at this restaurant. The crispy black chikuwa tempura, the delicious toriten that oozes with flavor when you bite into it, and the chewy mochi tempura all had great textures. The udon noodles had a firmness that provided a satisfying bite. I definitely want to visit again for the food! After a long time, I finally found some delicious udon with a strong presence. I visit the Kotohira shrine in Kagawa three to four times a year, and the udon there is truly amazing, thanks to the training in the hometown. Ah, I want to eat it again.

The udon restaurant had firm noodles, light broth, and crispy tempura, making it very delicious. When the restaurant is full, you write your name and number of guests and wait to be seated. While waiting, you will be asked for your order, so it is good to check the menu in advance and decide. The signature dish is the "Kuro Chiku" udon, which comes with a cut-up fish cake, small chicken tempura, and small mochi tempura. They offer both hot and cold versions. The chicken tempura is very hot, so be careful if you have a sensitive tongue. The tempura is crispy, the udon is chewy, the mochi tempura is just the right size, and the chicken tempura is very juicy. I felt perfectly full. The portion size may seem normal, but the firm noodles make you feel quite satisfied, so be cautious about ordering the large size on your first visit. There are also other attractive items on the menu, such as tempura and meat and burdock root stir fry, so I already want to go back about five times in the future. The portions are generous, so I think it's worth walking for about 40 minutes to get there. Payment is cash only.

The only downside is that it seems like the udon noodles are boiled to order, so it takes a bit of time for them to arrive (about 10 minutes). Just something to keep in mind if you're in a rush.
