The grilled beef wrapped in a sweet miso leaf is served with plenty of sauce. The deep-fried tonkatsu, with its crispy golden color, has tender and elegant meat. For dessert, try the shaved ice made with natural ice from Nikko. The fluffy and soft ice is a delightful treat that you'll want to enjoy even in winter. The grilled duck w... read more The old folk house restaurant "Akane" was a long time since I last visited, but as always, the handmade dishes were delicious and satisfying. The grilled duck was crispy and perfect with alcohol. The seafood rice bowl set was also a delightful dish, but the jumbo shrimp fry ordered by the family was truly massive at over 20 cm long and wonderfully plump! They also provided a pot of hojicha tea on the table, and coffee, black tea, and green tea are all free-flowing drinks.
