When I was in elementary school, I went to a restaurant that served such delicious okonomiyaki that I was shocked. I had been unable to find out the name of the restaurant for over 30 years, but finally found it and was able to go. While it didn't quite live up to the shock I felt when I was in elementary school, it was still delicious and chewy. The sauce and mayonnaise were also delicious. There is a nostalgic Showa era atmosphere. When they appeared on TV, the exterior looked worn out, but I heard that the owner recently repainted the outer walls. They are open from around 11am to 9pm, but due to the pandemic, they now close around 8pm. It might be a good idea to call before going, as they have no days off unless they have other commitments.
At this restaurant with a cool atmosphere, the motherly staff engages in friendly conversation with guests.
