The soup stock, which is the basis of the dishes, is made with chicken rather than pork, which is unusual in Fukuoka. This is why the champon may taste too light. My personal favorite is the plate udon. The champon noodles soaked in chicken soup are very tasty. This restaurant is one of the best in Fukuoka for plate udon, competing for the top spot.
