I have visited several times in the past, but it was always closed, so I never had the chance to try it. (When I mentioned this to the owner, I found out they are closed on the 2nd and 4th Sundays, so it was just by chance that I finally caught them open this time on the 3rd Sunday!) They have a wide variety of menu options, from set meals to snacks for alcohol. The restaurant is run by an elderly couple. This time, I ordered the "Beef and Eggplant Stir-Fry Set Meal" for 800 yen. The husband prepared the main dish of beef and eggplant stir-fry, while the wife took care of the side dishes, rice, and soup (which was egg drop soup, not miso soup), and efficiently brought everything to the table. The eggplant was sliced thinly to cook at the same rate as the beef, absorbing the delicious flavors of the oil and beef. It was delicious!
