On March 28, 2020, I drove further south from Hiwasa Station to a cozy locally sourced restaurant, with the main specialty being Tokushima's Niwatori-Awa Oji. The restaurant also serves as a market, selling local vegetables, produce, and crafts. I ordered the daily menu for 1200 yen, which came with rice, soup, salad, and a plate of marinated buri sashimi and Awa Oji chicken tempura. The dishes allowed me to enjoy a variety of mountain vegetables, seafood, and meat. The service was excellent. Due to the local environment, there are a lot of bugs in the summer, so I recommend addressing this issue as soon as possible. The restaurant only accepts cash. I also ordered the katsu curry for 1200 yen.
Awaodori is a delicious dining spot that uses locally sourced chicken and vegetables. I highly recommend it if you're in Hiwasa!
You can enjoy Awaodori chicken at a reasonable price. The vegetables were locally sourced and fresh, making them delicious.
阿波尾鶏を使った数々の美味しい料理が楽しめるお店です。 ウミガメバーガー(赤)を頂きましたが、今まで食べたハンバーガーを軽く上回ってくる美味しさです。(写真はメガですが、メガは食べにくいので普通サイズをおすすめします(笑)) パティは色々な食感が楽しめ、そこに濃厚なタレが絡んで最高でした。 個人的な意見ですが、四国で一番美味しいハンバーガーです!(もしかしたら日本一かも!?) デザートに頼んだすだちプリンもさっぱりでいくらでも食べられるやつでした! 新鮮な野菜や阿波尾鶏の冷凍ハンバーグなんかも店内で販売していますし、インターネットでの注文も可能なので、簡単に食べに行くことができない人はそちらを利用するのもありだと思います。 次は多くの人が食べていた親子丼も頼んでみたい。
