I arrived at the noodle shop before the 11 am opening time, but there were already several people waiting. More customers kept coming in later. It's definitely a popular place. Since it was my first time, I decided to go a little fancy and ordered the ramen with chashu and soft boiled egg. Despite the pork bone smell in the air, the soup was creamy yet slightly light. It had a distinct Saga ramen flavor. The chashu had a light salty taste and there were plenty of thinly sliced pieces in the bowl, but I personally prefer them to be more seasoned. This is just my personal opinion, but the soup was easy to drink and I finished it all in no time. Thank you for the meal.
When you feel like eating ramen, this ramen shop called "Coco" is a must-visit. They have table seating, counter seating, and tatami seating. When I went there after a long time, I found out that the price had gone up by 50 yen. Today, I had the ramen with raw egg (650 yen). At first, I was surprised when I heard about it, but when I tried it, the raw egg made the tonkotsu soup milder and easier to eat, making it delicious.
I had the raw egg ramen and gyoza set for ¥950. It arrived in about 3 minutes. The soup had a slight pork bone smell, but you could still taste the richness and depth of the pork bone flavor, with a good amount of garlic. I recall that the garlic flavor was not as strong at the Tosu location, but I'm not certain. The noodles appeared quite yellow in color, and seemed different from the noodles at the Tosu location. Personally, I thought the main branch was more delicious.
