The setup of the restaurant was unique, with staff taking orders and serving food in the center of the restaurant. It would be nice if they were more attentive to customers even when busy, as everything can be seen clearly from the seats. Overall, I think it's much better value than the popular Sanuki udon chain restaurants. The freshly fried tempura and chicken tempura were delicious! Unfortunately, they were sold out of the mixed rice dish this time, but I will definitely go back to try it. Many customers were also getting food to go.

I had the set meal of Niku Udon and Kayaku Gohan. The "soft yet firm" udon noodles pair perfectly with the broth. In chain restaurants, they only put a little meat on top of the Kake Udon, but here, there is plenty of meat giving it a satisfying bite. On the table, there are tenkasu (crispy bits of tempura batter), tororo konbu (shredded kelp), shichimi (seven spice blend) which allow for flavor variations. The location is convenient with easy access from Kashiba City, Yamatotakada City, and Kashihara City. The restaurant resonates with the sound of the owner quietly cooking udon in the back and the lively voices of the staff.

However, t... read more There is a solitary Sanuki udon restaurant in the countryside. It's extremely crowded during lunchtime. I wouldn't recommend it if you're in a hurry. However, the delicious food is definitely worth trying!! The prices are not too high, and the portions are generous!! The udon noodles have a strong texture and are very satisfying. The large portion of zaru udon is quite substantial, and the burdock tempura is excellent. There are no set discounts, so maybe it's better to order dishes separately?? It's a popular restaurant that's crowded for a reason.
