It may be a bit nerve-wracking to climb the unpaved road at the end, but once you reach the top, you'll be greeted with a spacious and incredibly beautiful place. The food, cakes, and bread are all handmade and delicious. It's also a great experience to have a cafe outside when the weather is nice. The photo opportunities are fantastic, so I highly recommend taking some pictures. Additionally, the unused pizza oven outside is reminiscent of Laputa and adds a lovely touch!

There is a signboard on the path leading to the shop, I think that you can go without getting lost if you come to the vicinity. The time spent with a relaxing tea here would be one of my best luxury. The shop location, atmosphere, the drink and food, the service, etc. are all great! Advance reservations are required for lunch course meal. 山の中にある素朴なお店で、素敵なお人柄のオーナーご夫婦と可愛い猫が優しく出迎えてくれます。お店に通じる小道に看板があるので、付近まで来れば迷わずに行けると思います。 ここでのんびりお茶を飲みながら過ごす時間は、私にとって最高の贅沢のひとつ。 お店の場所、店内の雰囲気、お料理、サービスなど全てが素晴らしいです！ コース料理のひこばえランチは、事前予約が必要です。

Driving up a mountain road and... read more Located in the heart of Oshima, this cafe and cake shop is a hidden gem. If the cakes are ready, they will be available for sale. Driving up a mountain road and navigating a narrow, unpaved gravel road, you will come across a different world. Even outside, all you can hear are the sounds of the wind, birds, and trees, without the noise of cars. The interior of the shop is spacious and the nostalgic background music makes you lose track of time. The food menu is delicious and the water is tasty as well. The elderly couple and a cat will welcome you, with the cool and handsome gentleman-like owner, the kind lady who laughs wholeheartedly, and the tsundere cat all making you forget you are deep in the mountains of Oshima. As I left, the two people and one cat saw me off, leaving a lasting impression. I was lucky to enjoy the place alone, but it is best enjoyed quietly by yourself or with one other person. Or perhaps have a lunch with about four people while enjoying the nature. It's not a place for rowdiness. It truly is a dream-like place with nothing but 'goodness'. It was amazing. I don't usually give 5 stars, but this place deserves it! Highly recommended, but at the same time, I don't want to recommend it.
