It is one of the few privately owned businesse... read more This restaurant specializes in large-sized pancakes, takoyaki, yakisoba and yakudon, okonomiyaki, and shaved ice. It is one of the few privately owned businesses. The restaurant has been in operation for 38 years (as of 2019) and is run by a husband and wife. During my visit, the wife was running the restaurant on her own. It seems to be well-known in the local area, as there were customers coming in to purchase the large pancakes even when I was there. Some customers even placed their orders and came back to pick them up after shopping. The prices for okonomiyaki and yakisoba/yakudon have not increased, which is great. The prices are also very reasonable, and the portions are generous. I had a conversation with the wife, and she mentioned that it's sad to see fewer and fewer privately owned businesses nowadays.
