The food was delicious. The seasonal okra tempura was also tasty. (5 pieces for 210 yen. No photos available.) Ibusuki City is the top producer of okra in Japan. We used Google Maps to get here, but when we tried to enter the parking lot, it instructed us to make a U-turn, and even when we entered the neighboring parking lot, it still told us to make a U-turn. So we just parked there and walked to the restaurant.
After relaxing and sweating in the hot spring, the meal at the geothermal village is irresistible. If you come here, don't hesitate to try the "tataki gozen" for 1370 yen, it's highly recommended!! The taste is quite good. However, I wish they would add a bit more tataki.
I had the Tsunadare Udon and Katsuo Ontama Don! Since I was in the mountains, I wanted to eat katsuo, so I chose the Ontama Don. It was easy to eat without the strong smell of bonito, and it was delicious. The restaurant was easy to access even for wheelchair users as there were no steps. They also offered a dessert set with a drink bar for 400 yen.
