I was told that only counter seats were available when I made the reservation two days ago, and I was hoping for a tatami room because I have children. However, I had to settle for a counter seat. When I arrived on the day of the reservation, a cancellation had opened up a tatami room for us. Lucky for us! I had wanted to sit at the counter to see the chef in action, but the tatami room was a pleasant surprise. As for the food, it was as fresh and generous as the reviews said. It is definitely on the pricey side, but the freshness and flavor are outstanding. While I may not be able to dine here frequently, it's a luxurious treat to enjoy delicious fish once a month. The menu is mostly geared towards pairing with alcohol, so be mindful if your child is not a fan of raw food. My child stuck to egg and cucumber rolls only, but they were satisfied. I think this place is great for fish lovers who enjoy a drink with their meal.
