Great restaurant, they beat a 10 kind of tapas dinner for tourists it really worth and good value for money!
Wasn’t worth the 4000 yen course, IMO. The service was great, and made up for the lackluster food.
A little more than I'd like to spend but I really enjoyed it here! Food was nice, service was nicer. Quaint but lively atmosphere. Smoking is allowed inside

It was absolutely delicious! Since the menu was only in Japanese, we asked for a chef’s recommendation course so we could sample a variety of dishes, and it was perfect. From the very first sushi to silky miso tofu, the unbelievably tasty edamame, crispy kakiage tempura, refreshing bok choy salad, fluffy tamagoyaki, hearty pen-shell clam soup, and finally udon noodles—the lineup was incredible, and it was only ¥2,000 per person! The staff greeted us with such infectious energy—everything felt so warm and welcoming (and the server was handsome, too . Thanks to them, we got to taste seven different kinds of sake. This meal in Kyoto has become one of my happiest memories! Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
