We sat at the bar and had a few drinks they have a pretty good menu but I just stuck to cider for this session. They make fresh pizzas which looked really tasty but we'd already had dinner. There were two businessmen sitting next to us who we chatted to and they said the food was good. If I was staying at Granbell again I would definitely come back here for a nightcap.

The pizza itself is not the greatest I've ever had, but it's not bad; I'd venture to say better than average. Mostly, it's held back by the quality of the ingredients rather than the skill of the cooks or the composition of the dishes. Then again, I'm not sure what you would expect from pizzas that are sold for ¥500 during lunch. I do appreciate the large variety of pizza, and the vegetarian was surprisingly original and well put together. The staff was about average in attentiveness until it got busy, after which things started taking forever, and it was hard to pin them down. Considering how busy it got, it's understandable, just don't go in the evening if you have plans after. They do provide an English menu, which is a bit marked up, but serviceable. The atmosphere at the bar is pretty calm, and you can watch them make pizza if you're so inclined. Even after the place was full, it didn't get too noisy, and was generally a pleasant dining environment. Overall, I would go again, but the lack of quality of ingredients and understaffing for rush hours prevent me from giving Cona more stars.
