Sorbet Recipe
To start off my recipe, you'll need some ripe fruits. I like to use fresh strawberries, mangoes, or peaches for that natural sweetness. Now, I know some folks like to use a fancy ice cream maker for their sorbet, but honey, all you really need is a good ol' blender.
Next, blend up your fruits with some water until you get a smooth puree. Taste it and adjust the sweetness if needed. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and pop it in the freezer. Every hour or so, take a fork and give it a good stir to prevent any ice crystals from forming. This is the secret to a smooth and creamy sorbet, just like mama used to make.
After a few hours, your sorbet should be nice and frozen. Scoop it into bowls or cones and garnish with some fresh mint or a slice of fruit.
