I read the comments first and added brown sugar along with the white sugar and ground nutmegThey were nice and fluff only thing is I would have liked a little bit more flavor to them.
I was a bit leary of this with it having flour in the recipeI tried it anywayI used my homemade sourdough bread for this and and grated a little fresh nutmeg in the batter.
