Between four of us we had the fillet s... read more Well we need to go back to try the desserts! Just didn't make it that far! A huge, fantastic quality meal was had by all. Between four of us we had the fillet steak with jacket potato, the ribs with chips, the sirloin steak, squid and the blackened fish. We swapped food and oohed and aahed a lot! A medium rare steak was believe it or not, medium rare and melt in the mouth. The ribs were meaty..and there were three of them...the squid was the best I'd eaten and the blackened fish was evidently lovely, but I just couldn't fit it on the plate. All prices around $42 per meal, but so much food. If you are a sweet eater, share a main and try the lemon meringue or chocolate cake..the people next to us tried with all their might to finish them but were beaten! Lovely surroundings, great wait staff and the chef comes out for a chat. Lovely experience..we will return.

TASTY AND GREAT VALUE!!Waitresses were all very friendly n made us feel soooo welcome. The restaurant itself sits on the lake side. Beautiful view. Food came fast and again...tasty and great value!!The highlight was while we were waiting for our coffee at the end, the head chef came to our table to greet us and ask for feedback. He is such a pleasant gentleman. He went to basically every table to say hello. Definitely go back again next we are in marg's.
