We traveled from South Devon and stayed locally for 3 nights. We found a great 'Groupon' deal for a main dish and a drink, so we checked TripAdvisor and booked for a Thursday night. The pub was fantastic, with an excellent menu and wine selection, friendly staff, and a warm atmosphere. We were very impressed with the quality and value. Lunch was needed to break up a road trip, and when the first option fell through this was picked based simply on being nearby- and what a lucky pick it was. The first thing to note was the faultless service. The second thing is the quality of the food.
