Was christopher geyer at The Castle Inn a mag?
A lovely homely pub with a friendly atmosphere. My nut roast was excellent but my partner's roast beef was very fatty and we had to request a replacement. I noticed that the couple on the table next to us also returned some food as undercooked. I felt that the staff weren't very attentive and constantly had to get up and request some service. Will probably try again though just to see if it was a one-off bad day. View all feedback.

Food was delicious. We had a lovely meal. Food recommended. Service was efficient. But very impersonal. Brisk and uninterested. One waiter asked for the table next to us to give a service tip, suggested 10%. Our glasses were cleared before they were finished.
