The hotel contacted me by phone beforehand to confirm my arrival time. They also asked whether I preferred to check in using a self-service kiosk or in person at the nearby Erbenhof. I opted for in-person check-in. The biggest challenge initially was finding a parking space. Once that was sorted, we walked about 400 meters to the Erbenhof check-in area. There, we received a very friendly welcome and all the necessary information about our room. We were able to easily add a parking space at Alt Weimar for €12. The bill was settled immediately, and we were informed that breakfast wasn 't offered at the hotel itself, but that we could have it at the Erbenhof for €18. The room was clean, tidy, and equipped with everything we needed – we were very satisfied. The location was particularly convenient: the city center is about a 10-minute walk away, which was ideal for our visit to the Christmas market. ' ... Checkout the next morning was also straightforward, as the key and parking remote could simply remain in the room.
A nice, modest hotel at fair prices. Parking is available. The center of Weimar is within easy walking distance. However, for an inexpensive single room, you need to be fit enough to climb stairs.
