Tucked into Vancouver (downtown/YVR), this cozy, Bavarian-influenced pizzeria shines for its wood-fired, creatively topped pizzas and impressive European beer and wine selection. The concise menu and pleasant terrace add to the charm, making it a favorite for pizza lovers and beer fans. Service is hit-or-miss — often slow or inconsistent — and portioning/menu details have varied, but bold flavors, reasonable prices and a warm atmosphere keep many customers returning despite occasional management hiccups.
It's a beautiful place. The pizzas were fresh and delicious. The view is beautiful too. The dishes took a bit of time to arrive, but we were a group of 20 people so that's understandable. The staff was so nice and helpful. They even made a vegan pizza for one of our vegan colleagues.
This place is a gem. Perfect pizza and I found a new favourite beer. Staff were great and food came out in a timely matter. Views of North Van and candlelight. Low key hip and woth the trip... Yes, that rhymed.
Stumbled upon this place and sat on the patio. We didn?t have a reservation but they luckily seated us anyway. We all ordered a pizza each and it took around 30 minutes to come out. Service was pretty slow for an early evening meal. When the pizza did comeout I felt like it was warm and not hot from an oven.
My friend and I came for dinner?The service was amazing. Pizza was great and the price is really fair. We will definitely come back. I would recommend if you are looking for german Beer in downtown Vancouver too.
Very tasty and classic feeling little neighbourhood restaurant. Solid vegetarian options as would be expected from Italian, but nice attention to balance. Pizza has a nice dry, thin crust that's close to Napoli style but more crisp, with a nice softinterior. Tomato sauce was nice and bright.
