The pub is located about a 15-minute drive from Bideford. Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome as if we were regulars. We had a Sunday carvery which really disappointing! The Beef was tough, roast potatoes were cremated and hard. Poor selection of only 3 veg. There were no boiled/ mashed potatoes. The gravy was flavoured with the juices of the smoked meat which gave that taste to all the food. We didn't stay for desserts and stated as we left that we were dissatisfied. View all feedback.
