The food is highlighted for its delicious flavors, with some dishes receiving praise for being spicy but not overwhelming. Service is deemed friendly and casual, though some diners noted longer wait times for ordering. The value for money is emphasized, with ample servings and the option for a mesob banquet with multiple dishes. Overall, the restaurant is recommended for those looking to try something new and experience authentic Ethiopian cuisine in a relaxed setting. Reservations are suggested due to the small size of the venue.
What Julie J likes about Abyssinian Restaurant:
Loved this experience of eating Ethiopian style with our fingers using the beautiful light “bread” to pick up the very tasty, not overly spiced food to eat. The owner was very friendly and informative about the food and his country. The food was delicious and we would definitely return for some more wonderful Ethiopian food. Highly recommend this place. Lots of atmosphere as well View all feedback.
