Took my parents there for their wedding anniversary along with a few kids as well. The ambiance is great with a modern rustic feel. Great selection of booze and coffee beverages are very good. The food is fantastic and rich. My 6 year old wasn't a fan so recommend your children are 8-9+ as you need a good palette for the food. I am a local resident and frequent the various bars/restaurants on Dundas regularly for dinner and drinks.We went to the Junction Local on a rather quiet midweek evening. (only around 4 tables full) We were greeted and seated by a rather rude/grumpy seeming waitress who made it very clear that she wanted to go home. Catfish dinner was exceptional and the cocktails were fantastic! Lovely ambience and the wonderful service with visits by the owner was a special touch. Looking forward to returning to sample the other yummy items on the menu.
Highly recommend. Very great food. Loved the baked beans and pulled pork. Service excellent. Will be be back.
We had dinner here before taking a friend to Pearson airport. The shrimp, chicken, and brisket were delicious, and the beer selection was impressive.
