When we arrived the staff made a real effort to seat us at the best possible table. We ordered the Peking Duck along with one other dish and a delicious dried seafood soup. Everything tasted wonderful. For dessert we had a strange, but delicious black sesame soup. It was served warm with almond cookies. All of this....at an affordable price. We went for dinner on the recommendation of a friend who had enjoyed lunch here, and while we were impressed by the lavish room, the food turned out to be no better than I can get in my neighbourhood. One of our dishes was "beef tenderloin" that turned out to be a lower-grade cut. As for the service, we had four of five people fussing around us, but they weren't especially smooth or helpful.
