When we arrived the staff made a real effort to seat us at the best possible table. We ordered the Peking Duck along with one other dish and a delicious dried seafood soup. Everything tasted wonderful. For dessert we had a strange, but delicious black sesame soup. It was served warm with almond cookies. All of this....at an affordable price. Oh yeah, the location is great, too. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Crown Princess Fine Dining:
We went for dinner on the recommendation of a friend who had enjoyed lunch here, and while we were impressed by the lavish room, the food turned out to be no better than I can get in my neighbourhood. One of our dishes was "beef tenderloin" that turned out to be a lower-grade cut. As for the service, we had four of five people fussing around us, but they weren't especially smooth or helpful. I'm perplexed that Crown Princess isn't more highly rated. I've never had better dim sum in my life (which includes several trips to China for a cumulative +3 months there). Their Peking Duck is wonderful - better than most places I've had it in Beijing! The price is very fair considering it feeds 3-4 people. The décor is over the top - but suits the quality of the food, which is regal. We've eaten here 4 times by now and can't wait for the next time. This place is not to be missed!
We did the 1st of July Crown Princess Cruies for seven nights round the Norwegian Fjords,it was 100 percent magic, the cenery was beautifull and the weather was unbelievabley hot and brilliant, the cabin and staff was first class and the food was so good,so many choices and could dine when you wanted,we really had an exelent week, roll on another cruies.
