YOU 'VE GOT TO EAT HERE! Maxime 's is French-Canadian cooking at its best. Generous plates of good food served by competent and friendly staff. You can tell it is a favourite among locals. This is the only restaurant in town and in many nearby areas for miles! It's definitely the go-to spot if you're passing through. Their homemade baked beans were outstanding!
The food was excellent and very affordable. Most of the waitresses did a fantastic job. However, one waitress consistently has a long face and is quite rude to customers. This is a lovely little place to catch up with an old friend. The service was excellent, and our waitress, who appeared to be in her late 50s, was absolutely charming. The food was also quite tasty.

I was feeling daring, ordering a yogurt and fruit cup to start, followed by their Super Max big breakfast. What a treat! Friendly tip: save some of the yogurt and fruit to load into the delish crepe that comes with this feast! Bring your appetite to Maxime 's, they 'll take care of you.
Great stop off the highway for family dinner. Food was excellent diner type food and the staff were extremely friendly.
