I have eaten curry weekly for over 50 years and spent quite a few years in London near Roman Road where every other shop was a curry house so to get customers they had to be good. Thaal of Spices is up there with the best of them, its standards did drop for a few months last year when the owner went to his home country of Bangladesh but it was still the best in the area.
