Warm and friendly welcome. Excellent Otter Ale promptly served! Good selection of pub standards on the menu. A pleasant surprise was several menu items were available as smaller portions. Avoid. I ordered the chicken burger with extra brie and bacon. This however ended up being 3 goujons in a bun, with non melted brie and flacid bacon. Not impressed, would not recommend. Much better places in the local area to choose from. A real shame as the pub itself is old, and has a real charm, severely let down with a poor menu, and execution of said poor menu.
