What Roger Henz likes about Two Mile Oak Inn:
Warm and friendly welcome. Excellent Otter Ale promptly served! Good selection of pub standards on the menu. A pleasant surprise was several menu items were available as smaller portions. A very nice thing to see. Food was well prepared and of good quality. Enjoyable meal. Would certainly return. View all feedback. What Jacob Prowse doesn't like about Two Mile Oak Inn:
Avoid. I ordered the chicken burger with extra brie and bacon. This however ended up being 3 goujons in a bun, with non melted brie and flacid bacon. Not impressed, would not recommend. Much better places in the local area to choose from. A real shame as the pub itself is old, and has a real charm, severely let down with a poor menu, and execution of said poor menu. read moreThe pub atmosphere was charming, but the menu execution left much to be desired, with disappointing meals such as the chicken burger and lasagne. However, some guests enjoyed their meals, like the steak pie and fish pie. The service was friendly, and the food quality was impressive, particularly the venison and bacon pie. Despite mixed reviews, this family-friendly restaurant offers a cozy ambiance and reasonably priced, delicious meals for those who appreciate a local experience.
