In May of 2022, I paid a visit to Tamworth only to find it closed (guess I could/should have checked their hours), but I finally made it back this past July and couldn't have been more satisfied with the whiskey I sampled. Like other reviewers, I wish they offered (more) food (minus one star) and were open later, but I recognize the limitations of being a distillery in a small town. Beautiful location, great place to sample by the brook. Tastings were solid, in time good competition for New York bourbon but a ways to to meet Kentucky. Disappointed, prices weren't clearly posted. Paid $100 for their 7 year bourbon. Although Bottled in Bond, widely overpriced. Didn't want to embarrass lovely staff with pricing. Bought it, will drink it but not a find. View all feedback.
