The waitress was nice and helpful! The place itself is a bit funny looking and that makes it very interesting. Say for a steak and that was fine. The part was great and cooled the way I wanted, but the fries were far too salty, and the salad was buried under dressing. . I would probably not go back to dinner, but also for a drink there!
Good place to cool after a long hard working day, whether Monday or Friday! The staff @ RGs is always super friendly and nice. ???? Happy Hour ???? from 5-7 too.
Friend and I were too early for our dinner reservation at nearby Wolf bar, so ended up popping into this pub for a quick pre-dinner drink since it is right across our rendezvous Wynyard station. It offers one of the best happy hour deal in Sydney CBD - $5 pint, house wines, and spirits! We both had house white, it was decent. We also ordered some focaccia bread to nibble on but for some reason it never turned up. What impressed me was the way how the staff handled it. They first tried to get to the bottom of the mis-communication but no luck. Then they refunded us and offered free complimentary food from the menu as apology. I took my mother and boyfriend to Uccello for a surprise (early) 60th birthday dinner, as my mum lives in Perth and was over visiting. The meal was delicious! Everything was so tasty wines were scrumptious. She loved every second! Our waiter, Adam was wonderful- hilarious, very friendly so helpful. He was lovely! The evening was really special the 'happy birthday ' on her dessert plate made it even more of a precious evening for us. Thank you. Love Uccello. We will definitely be back. Gem.
