Located on Darling Harbour, this bar/restaurant offers stunning views but unfortunately lacks in service quality and cleanliness. Despite the grubby atmosphere and indifferent staff, the $10 steak deal was decent. However, customers were surprised by the high beer prices. On the flip side, other customers enjoyed the cocktails, generous portion sizes, and $10 meal deals. The food quality varied, with some experiencing undercooked steak, tasteless salad, and burnt Parma. Others raved about the pork belly pizza and apple cinade beer. The establishment is described as a mix between a sports bar and trendy nightclub, with a cozy atmosphere and good food options. Hospitality received mixed reviews, but one customer highlighted exceptional service from a manager named "Noodles." Overall, while some had disappointing experiences, others found it to be an awesome spot for a night out in Sydney.
The pepper sauce that accompanied the rump steak was positively terrible (like water). When I complained they replaced my meal without any sauce. When they came back with sauce it had been the same sauce just evaporated on the stove (not even any corn flour to thicken it). It ended up being an expensive piece of meat on a bed of chips... which I couldn't bring myself to eat. I was not charged for the meal but went home hungry. Very disappointing experience and soured a great night out.
Popped by here a while ago. A great place to eat when at Cockle Bay. We had the calamari, fish burger, green beans, prawns finger good, salmon garden salad and steak. All good bar food. My favourite has got to be Salmon Garden Salad and surprisingly, Green Beans. The seasoning was simple but delicious. Visited for a working dinner and the Oferd of the antipasto plate for 2 and it was fantastic! Generous amount for 2 people and felt like a build their own pizza plate. Also very nice with the white wine and the harbor view!
If you’re looking for comfort food, this is the place to be. They offer a selection of burgers, fried foods and dishes with lots of cheese and fries. The fries could do with a bit more seasoning though.
My husband and I were looking for a sports bar to watch the rugby one afternoon. I didn't want to go to a typical sports bar as they can feel a bit seedy. This was a hybrid between a sports bar and a trendy night club. The viewing screens aren't very big, but we still got a good view of the game. We decided to have dinner while we watched husband had the burger which was nice and I had the prawn linguine (which wasn't really a linguine as it had napoli sauce). But it was yummy none the less. All in all, we enjoyed our time here!
