Mek's is one of those hidden gem/local-knowledge restaurants that makes me feel lucky to have found it. It is purely authentic Malaysian/Thai food with depth of flavor that comes from ground-up spice mixes, slowly simmered curries, delicate roti canai and fried rice cooked by actual Malaysian people.
