The vegan options were incredibly rich, and I absolutely love this place. They are working on expanding their vegan offerings, so I encourage everyone to visit and show support for the growing demand for veganism! I had the vegan tacos and they were good. Interesting flavor with the curry-I wasn't sure if I liked them or not but it was better with each bite. My husband, daughter, and I are on holiday from Derry, and we stopped by today for some fish and chips. When we arrived, there was a book launch taking place, but we were warmly welcomed and offered drinks and finger food while we waited for our meal. The place is beautiful, the staff are very friendly, and the food is exceptional. The fish and chips were the finest we've ever had anywhere in Ireland. Yesterday, we enjoyed some coffee and pastries, which were incredible—great locally sourced coffee and cakes that are definitely worth the visit to Strandhill. We will definitely be returning to try more delicious food and take in everything Strandhill has to offer.
We absolutely loved Shells! We made the trip from Westport yesterday, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, and the staff were fantastic; the entire experience was wonderful! There was a girl working in the shop (we unfortunately didn't catch her name), but she was incredibly friendly, helpful, and just an all-around lovely person. She also made the best Vietnamese iced coffee. We will definitely be returning! Best, Clodagh, Denis, and baby Maisie.
This place is a true gem! The coffee is outstanding, and the fish is the best I've had in a long time. The staff are fantastic, and the location is perfect. It's definitely worth a visit while you're traveling along the Wild Atlantic Way.

They’re actively working on expanding their vegan menu, so be sure to visit and demonstrate that the demand for veganism is on the rise!
