Das erste mal im Carlton Hotel zum Essen. Eigentlich wollten wir ins Da Vittorio (auch im Carlton) zum essen. Doch weil das Montags geschlossen war, empfahl man uns das Romanoff. "Dort gibt es Schweizer Küche", gab der Concierge an. Ok, eigentlich ist das nicht das was wir wollten, aber wir waren schon mal hier. Gut das wir das "getestet" haben. Während wir in der Karte gelesen haben, gab es schon mal !hausgemachten ! Schinken. Sehr gut. Dann ein Amuse bouche. Die Aussage Schweizer Küche des Concierge passt, aber es ist viel besser als man es erwartet, eigentlich ist schweizer Gourmet Küche. Nur Produkte aus der Schweiz versichert der Kellner. Das Essen ist sehr fein angerichtet und sehr lecker. Der Rauch der die Suppe "begleitet" ist Stickstoff erklärt der Kellner. Über den Hauptgang wird noch Belperknolle gehobelt. Der Küchenchef, Herr Porstein, brachte die Pralinen persönlich an den Tisch. Wir hatten einen der schönsten Abende in St. Moritz und kulinarisch an richtigen Ort. Das Restaurant Romanoff ist für uns jetzt erste Wahl im Carlton, auch weil der Preis stimmt.
Wir waren Ende Januar im Carlton Hotel um die tolle Terrasse zu nutzen. Es war herrlicher Sonnenschein und man konnte glauben das es schon April ist wegen der hohen Temperatur. Der Service ist schnell und das Essen ist gut. Wir wurden sogar von der Direktorin begrüßt. Wir kommen wieder
Schöne Atmosphäre und gutes Essen. Die Vorspeisen sind zum Teil sehr experimentell und originell, die Hauptspeisen sehr italienisch. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

Very nice lobby with live music in the evening. good eating. amazing fire places. the terras has a magnificent view of the lake and st. moritz.
