The Masons Arms offers a great atmosphere and friendly staff, but results were mixed when it came to the food. Some dishes fell short in terms of quality and portion size, leaving diners feeling underwhelmed. However, the pub's beer selection, service, and Sunday roast were highlights. The courtyard and beer garden make for a pleasant setting to enjoy a drink. While there were some negative experiences with staff and pricing, overall the Masons Arms is recommended for visitors looking for a cozy pub in Bury.

What Tony Cipriani doesn't like about Masons Arms:
Great atmosphere. Service was good not excellent. Food, out of 5 meals I could critique 3. My fish pie was mainly potato and cream sauce, very little fish pie shrimp in it. The scampi wasn't whole tail though stated that on the menu. The chicken in the chicken burger was a bit over done. Overall cost was more expensive for what it was. To put things in perspective, I think I could do a better job at home. View all feedback.
