This place is an absolute jewel. It is the Platonic ideal of a local small company and I cannot count the number of amazing (and quite expensive) bottles I have brought home from TGDV. Joe is the best and the community they created around this store is great. Go here and you never go back to another wine shop. View all feedback.

Servings are really, really small. Three of us had dinner for $200 without tip. We were still so hungry we went home and ate peanut butter sandwiches. On the plus side the food tasted good and came very quickly. The absurdly small servings have characterized this place ever since it opened many years ago. This restaurant offers an extensive selection of wines. The staff and owners consistently greet you with warmth and friendliness. They are highly knowledgeable and are always eager to recommend wines for any occasion. It's the best spot in the area to purchase wine!
I have been searching for a particular cream liqueur and maple bourbon for the past two years that is produced in Vermont that is not sold in Virginia. After a bit of research...I was told that Grape D'Vine sold it. As luck would have it they only had one bottle in stock and it was promised to another customer. After having a delightful conversation with the owner, Joe, he was not only willing to place a special order for me and ship to Virginia he also provided me the contact information of another supplier that had what I was looking for in stock and could ship sooner. Grape D'Vine is a lovely wine shop with a great selection, excellent service and an owner that goes above and beyond. I highly recommend if your in the area...definitely stop by and check them out!
I really hate to leave a bad review; it makes me sound like a troll. But when I leave a restaurant still hungry, I get a bit hangry. Last Saturday evening, I was served a shockingly overpriced dinner at Grape D'Vine in Sparkill, where minuscule portions were served with dismissive contempt by a haughty overlord, after which we went home and made peanut butter sandwiches because we were still hungry. It cost us $200 (no tip included) for three people. A main course risotto in the $40 range was literally a one-cup serving, like a tiny laboratory sample for calorie research, crouched in the center of a huge white plate. The only good things were accidental virus safety (the place was almost empty on Saturday night), the fairly priced wine, and my delicate stomach reports that their kitchen is very clean. Unfortunately, the server refused to smile even once. What, didn't you like me?
Incredibly fresh and creative. Always change the menu with unexpected turns, but always super tasty. The whole staff loves food and knows their stuff. Top 5 in Rockland/Bergen safe! Never disappointed, beautiful seating outdoors and good Kovid comfort level. We rejected Dessert, but when our waitress heard that it was our jubilee dinner, she insisted to serve a dessert and Bubbly (and interesting conversation! . The Snores Custard was phenomenal. Thanks for another top notch menu, keep the big work!! P.S. Also an amazing beverage and beer menu!
This place is a beautiful hidden gem. They are located in what seems to be the center of the city. Many parking spaces are available. There is also EV charging in the parking lot. The restaurant itself is not the largest, but the seating set is very courteous and flows very well. The service is phenomenal. The waiters have a good feeling of engagement and are very attentive. The bartender Robbie is very skillful. He needs the time to imagine himself and bring your drinks. He also comes for suggestions and feedback. The food is really well portioned and very balanced in taste. The appetizers are a bit teasing. As far as the main actor is concerned, we were able to cover a wide range of the menu and testify that most participants were very well joined together. Their desserts are also very unique. Overall a beautiful ripe quantity with a beautiful wine decorative ambience. They also have outdoor seating. I would definitely return.
