The restaurant baluarte was opened at the end of the year, dishes such as lentil soup with bacon and chorizo, the Castilian soup, a cream stretched with a scalphate egg, cod in chickpeas soup, with a gelatin of infusion of crude spinach, rice with broth mushrooms and potato lechal palette are available.
Excellent. Don't be afraid of the price. the tasting menu is excellent, the cozy place and the perfect service. if you are looking for the quantity and pure classicism in the food, this is not your place to discover.
We recently visited the attractive city of Soria for two days, and decided to try the lunch time degustation menu at Baluarte, for 69 euros. An absolutely first class meal followed, well-thought out, carefully presented, and served, neither too quickly nor too slowly, by polite, skilled, multi-lingual staff. [Later we also met the chef, who certainly is a master of his trade. For us this meal was an exceptional thing, but a great experience, and one to recommend highly.
