What Anonym dislikes about Monte Leone:
in august 2016 after a hike to the spitzhorli with hot cake and coffee. the location of the restaurant is ideal for hiking or hiking, the terrace with the wooden tables and benches cozy and welcoming. but we were not fully satisfied with the lightness of the service and the quality of the coffee as the fresh of the cake. the offer is diverse and the potential for more stars available. Some of the staff were not so friendly (unless it is culture, language thing) and food was Ok but expensieve. Nice location though
Great location but terrible service. The ‘younger’ employees are amazing friendly, amazing and efficient. The others are on a different level of surliness and apathy. Unless you are fluent in Italian do NOT expect anything other than rudeness. My recommendation is to park up, admire the view, get back in your car and drive on!
Ah! On a motor biking tour through Europe, this stop was a delight. Firstly, of course, the use of the facilities and then the fabulous coffee and apple strudel. Absolutely delicious!
The service is very very bad, very unpleasant. The prices are too expensive.
The outside is drab and this place looks more like a 1970's truckers stop than anything else. However the chef is a genius. He made the best food I have had in our six month trip around Europe. It ranks as one of my best meals of all time. And it wasn't even expensive!
