Kamonegi offers a unique fusion of traditional Japanese flavors and innovative twists, highlighted by its exceptional soba noodles and light, crispy tempura. Guests rave about the high-quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation, with dishes like the cream of morel soba and tempura Oreos stealing the spotlight. This intimate space, known for its hospitable service and warm atmosphere, invites diners to explore a diverse menu, including delectable vegetarian options. While reservations are recommended due to its popularity, the dining experience promises to be memorable, making it a must-visit for those seeking adventurous culinary delights.
As a vegetarian, I visited this restaurant with three other vegetarians and we were all able to choose from a variety of dishes. They offer a selection of veggie sobas, both hot and cold, which is fantastic! I deducted one star because the food is quite expensive for what it is. While I'm glad I tried it, I probably wouldn't return due to the high prices. Additionally, there is no air conditioning so it's best to avoid going on hot days. I recommend making reservations in advance. Street parking is available. Overall, the vegetarian options were tasty, but the value for food is not great as it is too expensive.
Phenomenal service and atmosphere. The seasonal soba dish was fantastic, Cream of Black Trumpet Mushroom. Had it with a side of fried mochi. It was so incredible that i wanted to recommend it to nearby tables that were just sitting down to eat.Food: 5/5
The noodles at this restaurant are top-notch. The food is incredibly tasty, but on the pricey side. The building seems to have been repurposed from its original use, but unfortunately lacks proper ventilation. I visited on a warm day and found the dining area to be uncomfortably hot, making me sweat throughout my meal. It's worth noting that a 20% gratuity is automatically added to the bill. Overall, I give the food a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.
Amazing food with amazing flavor! Great vibes and atmosphere. Made my husband and I feel like we were back in Japan! The service was wonderful and everyone was so kind. It was our first time trying Soba and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place!
