This restaurant truly stands out for its affordability. There are plenty of great options on the menu, including cheap side items and alcohol. If you're a student in the U-District looking for good Asian food at a reasonable price, this is the place for you. Don't hesitate to check it out!
This is my go to teriyaki place in the u district. Lowkey even Seattle. I lived in Beacon Hill for a while and used to return to the u district just for takeout from this place.Parking: Parking lot next to it where you can park while waiting for food. They don’t enforce payment very often and I have never gotten a ticket. Or paid.
Underrated and hidden gem of a place! Super affordable and definitely a bang for your buck!Came on a monday around 12pm and there was barely anyone. Only 1 worker but he came out with our food super fast!Me and friend got the Monday Lunch Special: Chicken and Gyoza Combo (which gives you Teriyaki Chicken, 5 pieces of fried gyoza, and 2 sides for ONLY $11) THATS CRAZY!! From the sides you can pick between: White rice, brown rice, salad, french fries, or miso soup.I got white rice and salad, my friend got brown rice and french fries. The owner (I assume) gave us separate checks to me and my friend without even asking which was amazing. Usually you 'd have to ask for split checks or just venmo each other but the person automatically placed 2 separate checks for me and my friend : ')Our bill came out to $12.13 EACH with tax and however much more depending on what you tip.Honestly if I lived nearby, I would frequent here often! Super worth the price!!
This restaurant has a cozy, hole-in-the-wall atmosphere. We were greeted by what we assumed to be the owner, who was running the entire restaurant by himself. Although he didn't speak much, we appreciated his hospitality. The restaurant was empty on a random Tuesday night, but we could imagine that it would feel much more intimate when busy. I could definitely see myself hanging out here with friends or alone. The food was delicious - fresh, crispy, and filling. The best part was that it was very affordable!
The restaurant offers fantastic food and generous portions at a reasonable price! While parking may be a bit challenging, it shouldn't deter you from dining here. When my group of seven visited for lunch on a Saturday, it wasn't too crowded, but we noticed one man (presumably the owner) multitasking in the kitchen and serving. We ordered the spam musubi and the katsu gyoza special, which also came with two side dishes.
